  1. Have built several ARs with Anderson parts. No complaints. Have shot seven rounds at 50 yards, all seven touching each other. 1/7 twist 55 grain hot loads with EoTech and magnifier.

  2. This is the second video about that 65 dollar barrel that had far better results than what would be expected… I may order a few as back up barrels. 2 inch groups for a combat ready rifle or home defense rifle is great… Especially at 65 bucks…

  3. I dont troll but I have to say something about your results with the PMC Bronze, I have 2 AR uppers that love that stuff, 1 inch and sub 1 "groups, One is a cheap ATI and PMC is the only tight ammo through it, the other is a Colt competition barrel, it groups several brands tight and the PMC is sub MOA, Needless to say I love the ammo!

  4. Twist rates on barrels are not based on weight. It's based on overall length. The 75 gr. Hornady needs a 1:7 twist to stabilize due to the elongated ogive and cylinder.

  5. Well not surprised it shot well. How many know Anderson makes gun parts for around 40 other companies. Not the cheep-O gun company that many have said. The only thing I can account is the fact that they did not up there prices just because of a new president,… B.H.O. I do thank him for talking my wife into the go ahead to get back into the gun market. Bang, bang,… good.

  6. I've done tons of testing with the hornady 75gr bthp. Im running white oaks 18" 1-7 twist. Sub moa is no problem if reloaded correct. Can't get good accurcy from a 55gr out of 1-7 twist or 75gr out of 1-9. Sub moa.

  7. Your doin something wrong in your reloads. I'm hating sub moa np. I'm .5 moa at 100 yards. I don't know??

  8. What happened to the days where accuracy depended on how good of a shot you are…this video is a snoozer

  9. 62grain is ideal for that barrel. You should of went with a .223 wylde 416r SS barrel, would of got bettrr results. Check out XX-treme barrel company.

  10. Update – Had a chance to test the AM-15 barrel myself. The best group was with 55 g Steel Match, about 1.5 moa. PMC bronze 3 moa. Tried the Fiocchi 50g based on your feedback. Good stuff about .5 moa in my MVP and the same 1.5 moa in the AM-15. You are right the AM-15 is at best 1.5 and 2 -3 with most other loads.

  11. Every rifle is different of course, but I can get 1/3 moa with 55 grain Steel Match and 3/4 moa with the 75 grain in an 18in Mossberg MVP from a good rest (100 yards). So I think it is match quality. I had to fix a rubbing stock and shorten the rear pillar which was an 1/8 inch above the bedding block from the factory to get those results. Just bought the same AM-15 so will see how it does with that.

  12. cbc magtech has 62 gr and 77 gr OTM out now on sale for dirt cheap. stuff like black hills NATO spec MK262 $1.20 bullets for 30 to 40 cents. I got 2,000 62 gr for my Anderson & 1,000 of 77gr for my FN15. they also have 168 gr for the same price of M80 ball

  13. my $50 barrel shoots 55gr wolf so tight the group is smaller than .223 hole

  14. 3-shots not enough to draw meaningful conclusions; the statistical uncertainty is just too great, especially if you're shooting manually.

  15. Just purchased this barrel for a budget build. Any links to that fore stock, gas block, etc. I really like the look of your rifle!

  16. PMC green tip I've always got Tight groups. I believe your groups could be better, by the look of the groups if you control your breathing a little more your groups would get much better.
    Just one man's opinion.

  17. funny my Mossburg 1:9 twist I shoot 62gr. wolf military grade at 100yrds and I can cover 3 shots with a dime.

  18. If the barrel is a 1 in 8" twist it seems like the rifle would achieve its best possible accuracy with 69gr to 77gr 5.56 NATO spec ammo. If you can get 1.25moa from those light bullets you could probably get sub moa accuracy with the right match ammo(obviously not with the Hornady steel "match").

  19. any issues so far with the build ? thinking of doing a build like this for the fun of it

  20. I bought two of the 1-8 Primary arms scopes because of the ACSS reticle. They are excellent from 1 to 5 power. The eye box from 6 to 8 is horrible. Its usable at the range but in hunting conditions is very unforgiving.

  21. could you please use some hornady black 62 gr and federal gold medal match 69 gr? just curious

  22. In my own testing with my 18" Stainless palmetto rifle the fiocchi and American eagle 50 Gr both shot great through mine smoked all the 55s I tried with it. Factory hornady 75s sucked for me but I hand loaded with 75s and Varget and I got great accuracy with mine. No luck with RL-15 for me

  23. Great video of real world best you can expect with a cheap AR-15. My go to round for accuracy is Gorilla 50gr Sierra blitzkrieg!! Sub moa 5 shot group's from both of my PSA Freedom AR-15s. Love that lil round!!

  24. My Ballistic Advantage 20" barrel loves PMC 55gr, lucky for me because there's no reason to spend anything more on ammo!

  25. I ENJOY YOUR VIDEOS AND GLAD YOU BUILD THESE AR15 RIFLES FOR US VEIWERS.BUT I THINK PALMETTO STATE ARMORY I THE BEST VALUE FOR THE DOLLAR.(BANG FOR THE BUCK).I BOUGHT A PSA LOWER COMPLETE WITH MAGPUL CTR STOCK,MOE GRIP,ENHANCED TRIGGER GUARD AND PSA ENHANCED POLISHED NICKEL TRIGGER FOR $169.99 AND A PSA COMPLETE UPPER WITH 416R STAINLESS STEEL BARREL 1 IN 8 TWIST,M LOK 13.5 HANDRAIL WITH BCG AND CH FOR $329.99.TOTAL FOR UPPER AND LOWER $499.98.MOA OR BETTER WITH MATCH GRADE AMMO.

  26. what twist is your barrel? the hornady is a heavy bullet and probably only shoots good out of 1:7 twist. my only evidence is that your ammo tended to shoot accurate as the weight of the bullet came down. even though a 1:8 twist barrel "shoots everything" it really is made for 55gr or 62gr, 75 probably shoots like crap out of anything but 1:7

  27. I have both Anderson and Delton uppers and they're both just as accurate and durable as any other stock barrels I've ever seen…I love em both…they shoot approx just under sub-moa with good ammo like 55 GK and 69gr Sierra Match King,.. and on par with what you said with cheap ammo…

  28. Right in the middle of the patreon explanation this video was interrupted by a mysterytacklebox ad. Too funny!
