That iron sight is sticking up probably 2″ in front of your scope. I think you should take your front sight off. Your scope looks good. Please don’t stick your scope on top of the original rail/handle……that would look like shit. Just my honest opnions, and as always great video.
This has probably been beaten to death but it seems like you have to remove or replace your irons. The scope comes with irons for probably that same reason.
there should be 2 pins on the bottom left side of the front sight. If you push those through you should be able to remove the front sight. If I am wrong I’m sure there is a youtube video on how to remove them.
Regarding your AR15 sight, I do the same with my EOTech. With practice you will get used to it and wont even notice the front sight post, just focus on the red dot. Its called a Co-Witness set up.
i wouldn’t suggest the riser man. then you will need a riser for the cheek weld if you want to meet it straight on. what you need is to get rid of the front sight gas block and get a gas block with a rail or a build in flip up. about the same cost as a optic riser (plus some work) and you did a complete job.
Hey man. I have the same optic. I love it. It’s on my Smith & Wesson M&P AR-15. My ar doesn’t have a fixed front sight though. I specifically wanted it that way so the front sight wouldn’t get in the way of the optic. I don’t think there is anything you can do about it. The optic is good though. I’ve been using mine for over a year now.
Is that a Hogue grip on your RTF? I have a Hogue grip on my G19 and love it but would figure you wouldnt need it with the new RTF? Perhaps you could explain in one of your next shows. THX, subbing
Easy solution to your problem is replace the gastube and front sight with a flat top picatinny rail block at the front and then put flip up sights on the front block and the rear in front of the charging handle.
Get a low profile gas block and you won’t see the Front sight post any more. If you throw a rail (free floating or drop in) on there you can get some Troy folding back up iron sights so if your ACOG style optic goes down, you will still have a method to aim the weapon. I also recommend a Magpul MOE or CTR stock because they grab the buffer tube better and don’t have as much slop in them. Plus the latch is shielded so the stock wont collapse or come off on you if the stock snags on some gear.
Ok. WTF Pete?! It took you 7:21 to say fuck. Very disappointing. LOL!!!
hey bro its been a while, just got my computer fixed glad to see you been doing good
Buy a stock with a check rest that will help your vision

Personally i really dont mind the Iron sights on the M4, i really perfer iron sights on any weapon over the EOTech sight or other various sights.

just buy a gas block if you don’t wnat to see the sight. Or even better a folding front sight that holds your gas tube.
