The AR-15 Semi-automatic Rifle design is an incredible weapon with years of battlefield experience. I would recommend this weapon for security and certain home defense applications. With the current administration, these may not be avaliable in the next year or so. Join the NRA!

I love the AR-10. It would make a great long range rifle and since it’s configured the same as the AR-15 little brother, would be easy to transition to. Unfortunately the price has shot up so it’s moved down on my wish list… a good friend of mine has one and it’s a sweet rifle. Thanks Bro~
Just read the part in the book “Patriots” where a character named Dan takes on a whole army of invaders with a nice rifle and a Trijicon scope. Sounded very nice. Learned a bit more from your video. Thanks!
Yes, excellent book! Try out “One Second After” by William R. Forstchen. That will blow your socks off. I have a video recommendation for it.
Thanks my friend~
Nice rifle ,You can never go wrong with a good AR15, and with great mags like the p-mags.
One word…MagPul. You will love those mags.
Yes, I own quite a few MagPul 30′s. That’s all I buy now. Thanks Bro~
I just bought the Smith&Wesson M&P15. LOVE IT!!!!!!!
Cool, u cant beat those mags. Awesome product!
do not agree (reliability) the only AR i would invest in would be a piston one other than that ak or sks (with tapco mags and accseories) is great sheep dog just my opinion great review by the way as always
if di guns were so unreliable the us wouldive changed them along time ago…clean youre gun like u should and u will not have a problem…and thats a fact
how much was the rifle?
we’ve got a bushmaster AR15 also, same 16 inch barrel but with a carbine stock. We use it for coyote hunting.
if money isnt an object i suggest getting a rail system and weapon light….i recommend the daniel defense omega rail system….its a free floating rail system with a continuous top rail and you dont have to remove the delta ring to install it….add a sure fire weapon light….like the m95…..a weapon light is key for a self defense carbine..lets you navigate your home and ID targets while being able to keep both hands on the rifle ready to fire
daniel defense is rediculously expensive but nice lol. I bought my leapers milspec rail for 75 bucks and love it. How far does that surefire light beam travel to cause i want one that will light up 50yds away well. You know?
the surefire m95 puts out 65 lumens for 1 hour using two lithium batteries. 120 lumens for 20 minutes using an optional high output lamp assembly.
the surefire m96 puts out 125 lumens for 1 hour or 225 lumens for 20 minutes using an optional high output lamp assembly. im not really sure on the range…anything past about 25 meters i use night vision. if you want the extra range i would get the m96. the version with the ARMS throw lever mount will run you about 500.
the us military issues the m95 to most units. the m95 with the dual thumbscrew mount will be about 370. its bright enough and has enough range to get the job done for most missions. there are brighter cheaper lights out there but the surefire is bombproof. if you get one i would recommend taking the remote tape switch off and just using the button on the back of the light. tape switche cables break and the light can be accidentally turned on with them.
lol you have some cake man. im only 15 i cant afford night vision lol if shit hits the fan im meetin up with you LOL
if the dual thumbscrew m95 is out of your price range i would check out the night ops weapon lights. the FALCATA 6 VOLT would probably be a good choice. or the 9volt model if you want the extra range. then you just need to buy a mount for it and you are ready to rock. if you decide to go with another brand make sure it was designed to be a weapon light, otherwise it wont hold up to the recoil of the weapon.
good luck
Canadian Mag..probably the same type we used when the C7A 1 was introdced into the Canadian Forces. They have since gone to a metal mag but when I first joined the Reserves in ’95 they had a plastic mag so in combat you could step on hte mag so the emeny could not use the mag. Not sure if the lips cracked etc but they decided to go with the metal mags years later. Just came across your vids today great job
Thanks for the comments… good to know that kind of info.
Living in Canada, the two semi-auto military rifles that seem to be in direct competition with one another on relatively the same level are the CZ 58 and the AR 15. I know someone who will be getting the latter, but don’t want the same gun as him. Anyone know how they compare?
@Angelsweep I would think the CZ-58 would comprare closely to the AK-47 more than the AR-15. I’ve never fired a CZ-58 but all I have heard is good.
Unfortunately AK-47′s and all their clones are totally illegal here in Canada, even semi-automatic. So the closest competitor is probably the AR-15. They both seem like very solid guns though.
ACOG is made here in Michigan, woo!
