Overall a very complex weapon,especially the D.I system that requires almost daily maintenance,and yes that is a part of every service members duties,but a more robust piston stroke system with maybe the AR frame.

how many times can a person qualify for BRM? i mean i feel pretty comfortable, being a hunter and have fired the AR 15, (which has pretty much the same iron sites) but just out of curiosity
@PfcWatkins09 forget everything you know about shooting a rifle and listen to your DS’s…..I was a hunter as well but decided I would do it their way and I got a 35/40….you will do fine.
they shoud recieve a better trianing, with more realistic situations, a dinamic course something like that, but they are practicing combat marksmanship just like in world war 1, i was on a program in my country called solider for a day, when i moved to firing range the istruction was “get prone and shot those targets” that was stupidly easy, in real combat you have no time to get prone and aim for abut 5 secs, you would probably shot while you are standing at a moving objet who will kill you!
@RedFang4 This range is actually around 50-75 meters, which to someone who has never fired a rifle before is a considerable distance. They don’t need to just hit the target to qualify; they also have to make quantifiable groups; in this case I assume it has to be at least within 2 MOA. Someone who is not experienced, and thus prone to flinching or not controlling their breathing when in the field will naturally have difficulty.
