I am helping out a business for an outdoors site and I need to know if you need a Federal Firearms license to sell ammunition

No. You need a license to produce and sell it. If your just selling ammo from other companies like wal-mart does no.
no….but there are some restrictions on how much u can have and shipping regulations etc….
** also depend on where u live…..in states that require FOID u have to have a dealer license which is similar to ffl….but is state level…
If you are selling reloaded ammo, then yes, you do. If you are just selling factory fresh, packaged ammo (or remanufactured labeled ammo), then no. There are shipping restrictions to several states, (IL, CA, NJ and MA i believe, there may be more) so be sure to find the detail out before you start.
