Taking away your rights,shredding the Constitution,proposed gun control,Patirot Act,Military Commissions Act,spying on citizens,flying predetor spy planes over American soil to spy on citizens,National I.D cards. Soon they’ll want to start microchiping people,all in the name of protecting us,call me paranoid but our future looks like something out of a sci-fi movie where the cops will know everytime you pass wind. I’m not a nut,the future just doesn’t look good.

I agree 100%! Many of the things I foresaw back in the 1980′s and early ’90′s, with the growth of the Internet, such as data mining, were laughed at by people…but look at it now!
The national ID card is just a step away and then where will we be? We’ll have no privacy at all, and thanks to the Patriot act, cops, federal agents and anyone with authority, will be able to pick out anyone they don’t like (such as those who dissent) and throw them into prison, without charging them or allowing legal representation…for as long as they want!
This country is not just turning into a police state, it already is one and is on the verge of Totalitarianism, unless the Dems AND the people do something about it NOW!
Yes, i do agree, it has had a bit of watered down communism in it sence WW2!! Remember we took a murdering commumist’s side in WW2 Stalin!! He killed 20 million people w/ his rise to power yet our president sat by his side w/ churchill!!

You forgot to mention the police presence in schools, and so-called "anonymous" surveys to find out what Mommy and Daddy are doing at home.
And of course the big immigration controversy, which offers a reason to seal our borders and provides a common enemy to unite against.
But I’m just another paranoid nut case.
