oh hell yea. im a big fan of them. currently own 9 of them. 2 are 74′s and 7 are 47′s along with my PSL in 7.62x54r which is like an AK

yes, i have the arsenal bulgarian SLR-105 ak-74 and polish tantal ak-74. both excellent. cheap surplus shooting. 5.45 round tumbles better than a 5.56 in its target. looking to get the new Saiga in 5.45x39mm and then convert it

Cool! Except saying that the 5.45 tumbles better than the 5.56 is like saying a screwdriver is better at turning screws than a hammer.
5.56 fragments, broseph.
5.45 fragments also and has shown to tumble just as well and sometimes creating larger exit channels than a 5.56. so what your point?
It is well documented fact a 5.45 is superior in hydrostatic shock, tumbling and accuracy as compared to a .223 Remington. Fact……The Russians=better woman and Better guns and ammo. Give me Kriztina any day over Material girl Denise.

5.45 has too low an impulse to fragment reliably. 5.56 has a 33% higher impulse and still has trouble fragmenting past 100m.

AK is an AK. One may be more accurate but, they’re ALL good.

@downhillrider199 Not all AK’s are full auto. Most are semi aut0 civilian models. The one in this video was a sporter all the way because it had the dragunov style stock and no threaded barrel.
@mechanicalmind496 I know this is old but you are wrong. The AK and the Dragonov use quite a different system from eachother.
