Generally, a concealed weapon is a weapon carried so that other people don’t know you have it (as opposed to open carry, which is what policemen do).
Undercover policemen usually carry concealed weapons. In many states, regular people can apply for a permit to carry them as well.
What state do you live in?
The legal definitions vary from state to state.
A concealed weapon is a weapon that is not visible to outsiders, a weapon that is hidden beneath a coat, stuffed in a pocket etc.
a weapon which is carried out of plain sight from people. Such as a knife or a gun attached to your belt which is covered by a shirt or a gun hidden in a purse.
