im 19 and my pap who lives in georga is giveing me a pistol and i want to know if i have to get it transferd, and if i can leagly have it in PA

Check the possession laws in Pennsylvania first, make sure you can own a gun at 19, then see what’s involved in shipping a pistol interstate, then comply with the rules, make sure there’s a bill of sale so it’s LEGALLY YOURS

It will remain registered in your dad’s name..no need to re-register it..besides the anti-gun nuts in Washington may decide on taking it away, so do not register it.
