How do armored car guards get a license to openly carry rifles or a shotgun in their truck and always have a holstered handgun on them at all times when no private citizen is allowed to get a permit? And fyi Illinois is a no-issue concealed carry firearm state.

They have passed IL requirements for armed security as well as company background checks and training.
They cannot carry but to and from work and on duty.
They cannot carry concealed or openly when they have a day off or out of uniform.
Why should civilians be allowed to carry guns? ! its not like its in the constitution or anything. jeez. (sarcasm).

well they do carry alot of money and if i was carrying thousands (possibly millions) id carry a gun too!
Because of the nature of their job. Criminals like to steal the money they carry so they can buy guns and drugs on the black market.
You can blame some of this on the Democrats. They want to disarm the honest citizens.
Private citizens aren’t important enough to be allowed to defend themselves.

No one wants people in Illinois to have guns…..anyone stupid enough to live there should not have anything dangerous.
They are licensed by the state as security guards with authority to carry firearms while working or going to and from work. They’re not acting a citizens. They’re acting as licensed private guards.
Just because the liberals want common people disarmed, a company licensed to do armed guard work, can get a license to own and have its employees armed.
Well, as armed robber have guns, they probably figured that guards without guns probably wouldn’t be able to guard anything.
Just ask the guard if you can borrow their guns. If they laugh or don’t do anything, that just means that they do not understand you and you need to resort to a visual aid or gesture to help them understand. Just reach in your coat (as if reaching for a gun) and scream out the code words, "Drop your weapons"! This is their cue to hand over the guns that you long to possess.
