dont lecture me about "oh you have to have a ffl license and pay for a tax stamp" and all that jazz. i just want to know, are they easy to find on the market

There are a number of them around, though not in the same quantity as legal NFA M16′s.
Doing a search on the site below brings up 4 or 5 of them. Currently, they go for about $9-10,000.
