Palmetto State Armory AR-15 Shooting 1,000+ Yards!

Here is the ultimate test for my hand loaded ammo I have been working on and validating its performance at long range. Shooting hornady 75 Gr BTHP match Bullets. Pmc brass CCI primers and Varget powder. Rifle is a palmetto state armory 18″ SS 1:7 twist with a 223 Wylde chamber. Using a vortex Viper 6.5-20×50 scope and a rock river two stage trigger. Wind was tricky but inevitable where I shoot so I went for it anyway!

  1. Dude!!! After those crazy ass winds & hitting targets with those rounds (glorified .22), that is some awesome shooting!!!

  2. Outstanding shooting in high wind! I have 4 PSA Rifles American made in South Carolina 2- .223/5.56MM ,1- 7.62MMX35 .300 BLK out 1- .308/7.62MM NATO .I would not trade them for any thing 1.75 moa@ 100 meters with the 5.56mm Nato 68 gr BTHP . 16" 1:7 & 16 " 1:8 .

  3. Awesome channel, man. I need to get out into the west desert to try some of that long range shooting out. I have a PSA AR but my vortex scope is only 2-8x so I don't expect to shoot much beyond 4-500 yards

  4. I to load for the ar15 and yes it is a pain to load the Amax's one at a time at 2.390 lol, Windham SRC & Rock River 20 inch bull barrel .936 under the gas block bull bull

  5. Man your lucky you have a place to shoot 1000 yds here in southern Indiana there ain't sh#t best is 600 ranges, love your vids keep em coming, have you tryed the 75 gr Amax's ya got to load them long but they have a higher BC

  6. Every time I watch your videos I'm so happy I bought the same upper receiver I know you bought the whole rifle but I'm glad I have the upper including the Midwest Rail I don't think I'll be shooting 1000 yards anytime soon but is glad to know it's that accurate! And I know the shooter has a lot to do with it too LOL keep up the good work!

  7. Sounds like we have the same ammo recipe. I charge 24.5 grains. How about you? Cool setup and great shooting, man!
