are my licence’s recogonised in the US same thing for drivers Lic.Can I apply for a drivers/ gun Lic on the net while I’m over seas? What do I need to do to be able to buy a rifle from a dealer in the USA and ship to Australia? Dose every State have different rules. I’ll hunt around the NRA site. Senate bill S.1878, which failed in 1994, attempted to require a 0 federal "arsenal license" and allow federal home inspections of private collections of 20 guns, or one carton (standard retail package) of reloading primers. It would also ban small handguns, magazines holding over 6 rounds, "non-sporting" amunition, and require a state license to buy a handgun, ammo, or parts.

Moving to Germany and looking to get a hunting and firearm licence in Germany. Will having a hunting licence in Australia help at all?

To understand this question if you are not from Australia you need to realize that Australia has an EXTREMELY restrictive firearms licensing system. No 2nd amendment here.
So I made an application for my firearms license, 4 weeks later it gets rejected due to a clerical error made by the officer who took the application.
Now it has been resolved they have to re-submit it and start from scratch, meaning ANOTHER 4 weeks till I get my gun, which I have already paid for and is sitting in my dealers safe.
So, I’m considering going to the ombudsman and trying to get a rush put on my application, but no doubt the ombudsman will be hassling the officers involved to find out what happened and if I am unsuccessful, and have to deal with those officers again, not only will they think I’m a prick, but they may intentionally delay my application.
I was also considering court, suing for specific action, I.E. granting my license.
