Why do some people who support the 2nd amendment?

seem to have a hypocritical point of view. They support certain things, specially Acts and Bills presented by the President or the Government that violate the 4th Amendment and The Constitution such as Warrantless searches/arrests/wiretaps. Yet when Gun Control is mentioned, they mention the Constitution and the 2nd Amendment and critisize that the Constitution and 2nd Amendment should not be violated by anyone or anything?
The 2nd Amendment does state a well regulated militia, how many people belong to a well regulated militia?

What exactly does Obama want to change? I agree that we need change…?

…but I believe that the change we need is to restore the Constitution, end the war, abolish the Federal Reserve, secure our borders, reduce the size and scope of government, reduce spending, reduce taxes, abolish the Patriot Act, abolish the IRS, get out of the US, stop policing the world, etc.

What is the change Obama wants? More taxes & spending, open borders, amnesty for illegals, more policing of the world, continued policies of Bush (such as the Patriot Act), gun control, socialized medicine?

Me personally

1. War On Terror, Leave the middle east and restore our civil liberties repeal the patriot act, NO NATIONAL ID, No Gun Control, No Censorship

2. War On Drugs, END IT

3. Immigration, Make them learn English or deport there asses

4. 10th amendment, if the constitution says that federal govt doesn’t have the power then the states do (I don’t see anything about Abortion, Gay Marriage, or ID Cards)

Does anyone think America is turning into a Police State?

Taking away your rights,shredding the Constitution,proposed gun control,Patirot Act,Military Commissions Act,spying on citizens,flying predetor spy planes over American soil to spy on citizens,National I.D cards. Soon they’ll want to start microchiping people,all in the name of protecting us,call me paranoid but our future looks like something out of a sci-fi movie where the cops will know everytime you pass wind. I’m not a nut,the future just doesn’t look good.

Reporting of firearms on next year's income tax form. Any comments on this?

Senate bill SB-2009 will require all gun owners, honest citizens, drug dealers, gangsters, etc. alike put on the 2009 1040 federal tax form all guns that one has or owns. Finger printing a drivers license and social security # will all be required. All this at per firearm
