Shots with the double eagle “AK47″. I don’t know exactly what model this is. It does not look like an AK47 actually. It’s written something like “beta spetsnaz” on the box… I guess this is not meant to be realistic. It looks like a ??????? ??????????? though. No, I don’t understand the Russian language but it looks and sounds cool in my opinion. It is NOT a AK-74 or a AKS-74U. The form of the magazine is clearly replicated from a 7,62 variant of the kalashnicov. It could be an “AK-47U”, but such rifle doesn’t exist for real. I think it’s an airsoft invention. There is no such thing as a “AK-74U”. There is “AK-74″ (which is a full length assault rifle), there is a “AKS-74″ (which is a full length assault rifle with folding stock) and a “AKS-74U”, which is a sub compact assault rifle (and not a SMG). The “U” suffix means “Ukorochennyj” in Russian = “Shortened” in English. It may bridges the gap between a submachine gun and an assault rifle, but the AKS-74U is an assault rifle. Not bad… For the price, which is very cheap. Something like 50 USD I guess. You can find it on WGC Shop for exemple (go to “airsoft gun” then “AEG” then “china made aeg”… Then you’ll find it). It’s not mine, I borrowed it from a friend. Less than 100 USD on WGC Shop. I used a 9,6 V battery in this video. There is a red dot on it, it’s a swiss arms red dot. The only “big” problem is the power. I think this is more than 400 FPS… Which is much too powerfull for my taste. It really hurts people…

I show you how to make a paper Ak-47 gun that actually shoots. Want a typed How-To? – hubpages.com This paper gun is very simple to make compared to other AK-47 guns. It does hurt if you blow enough.

Built for speed, longevity, and simplicity, this weapon now rivals current top battle/survival rifles. Changing out some factory to aftermarket parts saved front-heavy weight, reduced buttstock sound, improved grip and toughened up the frail factory magazines. Magpul CTR mil-spec stock and pmag magazine, and 551 handguards.

PART 2 of 5: Nutnfancy tackling the often controversial issue of the AK-47 versus AR-15 rifle systems. The bottom line is, a quality example of either gun can serve your law enforcement, military, and “civilian sheepdog” requirements admirably. However many factors and considerations should come into play when selecting your choice. When properly maintained and lubricated, the AR-15 is very reliable contrary to many internet, forum, and magazine myths. However it does not rise to the absolute, carefree ruggedness and reliability of the AK design. Whether packed in mud, neglected for cleaning, or just plain thrashed upon, the AK shrugs it all off and continues to shuck rounds with pleasing and life-saving regularity. It is better than the AR-15 system in that regard. It also features a lightning quick and easy fieldstrip. However the AK design has many flaws which include: poorer ergonomics (like its munchkin length of pull), shorter sight radius and inferior sights, heavier magazines and ammunition, difficulty in mounting optics (less variety in application too), slower operational controls, and more recoil. But many accept these shortcomings to gain the increase in stopping power of the larger .30 caliber round. As shown in the video, this 7.62x39mm round pretty much dies after 300 yards but within its range, it hits hard and defeats obstacles much better than the smaller 5.56x45mm offering. However the AR-15 can easily be had in either a 6.5 SPC or Grendel chambering
