Why is nobody talking about the new proposed gun law, HR45?

HR45 the new proposed house bill called "Blair holt licensing and registration act of 2009" will require any hand gun owners and self-loading (guns with a magazine) rifles to register with the Attorney General, give fingerprints, show drivers license or state ID, and update all your address information, and changes. Also requires you to report any sale of a firearm, private or public. Failure to update any address information will be punishable by a year in jail, and the loss of your right to ever own a gun. It also gives them the authority to come into your home and see how and where your guns are kept. This bill is sponsored by Bobby Rush, who is a former domestic terrorist and member of the Black Panthers. Also from Chicago and an acquaintance of B. Obama.
I don’t know about you, but this makes me very uneasy. I had heard that Obama wants to control gun ownership, guess so…

Can one of the Obama faithful explain why i SHOULDNT be concerned about Obama rewriting legal gun ownership?

Senate Bill SB-2099 will require us to put on our 2009
1040 federal tax form all guns that you have or own. It will require
fingerprints and a tax of per gun..

This bill was introduced on Feb.. 24, 2009, by the
Obama staff. BUT . . this bill will only become public knowledge 30
days after the new law becomes effective! This is an amendment to
the Internal Revenue Act of 1986. This means that the Finance
Committee has passed this without the Senate voting on it at all.

Obama’s Congress is now starting on the firearms
confiscation bill. If it passes, gun owners will become criminals if

Basically this would make it illegal to own a firearm -
any rifle with a clip or ANY pistol unless:

-It is registered -You are fingerprinted -You su pply a
current Driver’s License -You supply your Social Security # -You will
submit to a physical & mental evaluation at any time of their choosing
-Each update – change or ownership through private or public sale must
be reported and costs – Failure to do so you automatically lose
the right to own a firearm and are subject up to a year in jail.
-There is a child provision clause on page 16 section 305 stating a
child-access provision. Gun must be locked and inaccessible to any
child under 18. -They would have the right to come and inspect that
you are storing your gun safely away from accessibility to children
and fine is punishable for up to 5 yrs. in prison.

Why is Obama misrepresenting his positions in radio ads?

Recently, Sen. Barack Obama has been running radio ads in Montana declaring that he is a friend of gun owners and sportsmen, and promising to protect our right to own guns and continue to enjoy our hunting heritage.

In 1996 Obama’s Illinois state senate campaign answered a questionnaire indicating his support for a blanket ban on the manufacture, sale, and possession of handguns in Illinois

Obama has supported bans on ammunition magazines, to require the use of gun locks on all guns, supported renewal of the 1994 Clinton gun ban

He proposed a federal law banning licensed firearm dealers from operating within five miles of any school or park, nationwide. This would effectively close down most gun shops throughout the country

In 2001, when Illinois lawmakers tried to control rampant gang violence by making gang members eligible for the death penalty when they commit murder to help their gang, Obama voted against the measure.

He opposes right-to-carry laws and supports federal legislation to ban the right to carry

His record shows that he is about as anti-gun as anyone can be. He is totally misrepresenting his position on gun ownership to the voters of Montana. I hope we all keep this in mind on Election Day.

Reporting of firearms on next year's income tax form. Any comments on this?

The Amended South African firearm control act of 2006 dictates that all gun owners must re-register their firearms. The process is (of course) painstakingly slow as it meanders through the politically correct and inefficient South African beaurocracy, with no guarantee of a renewed license.
Many of these weapons, that have been turned in to the backward and corrupt new South African police services, whilst awaiting renewal of the application, have miraculously found their way into the hands of violent criminals and used in robberies and murders.
The cops are criminals, too.
