I just received an email saying they are trying to hide gun control in an IRS revision. I understand they are trying to charge everyone per gun on your income tax. Charge you a tax for selling a gun. Fine you for not reporting ownership of a gun, with jail time. Gives the government the right to come into your house and inspect your gun collection.
I really can’t see how this could have gotten past the NRA and other sportsmen associations.
Especially after the supreme court decision last year affirming the second amendment. But then again, many cities and states are still illegalling restricting gun ownership by lawful people.
Thanks truth seeker, I was simply trying to find an answer to a question. You liberals need to get a life. It is not necessary to attack, instead of simply replying intelligently.
I simply asked a question concerning the status of an actual bill and get attacked by liberals calling me names. Does that make any sense? I simply posted the facts in the bill .

on your next (2010) tax return!

Senate Bill SB-2099 will require us to put on our 2009 1040 federal tax form all guns that you have or own. It will require fingerprints and a tax of per gun.

| This bill was introduced on Feb.. 24, 2009, by the Omama staff. BUT . . this bill will only become public knowledge 30 days after the new law becomes effective ! This is an amendment to the Internal Revenue Act o f 1986. This means that the Finance Committee has passed this without the Senate voting on it at all.

Even gun shop owners didn’t know about this because the government is trying to fly it under the radar as a ‘minor’ IRS revision, and, as usuual, the ‘political’ lawmakers did not read this bill befre signing and approving it !

To find out about this – go to any government website and type in HR 45 or Google HR 45 Blair Holt Firearm Licensing & Record of Sales Act of 2009. You will get all the information.

0ABasically this would make it illegal to own a firearm – any rifle with a clip or ANY pistol unless:

-It is registered -You are fingerprinted -You supply a current Driver’s License -You supply your Social Security # -You will submit to a physical & mental evaluation at any time of their choosing -Each update – change or ownership through private or public sale must be reported and costs – Failure to do so you automatically lose the right to own a firearm and are subject up to a year in jail. -There is a child provision clause on page 16 section 305 stating a child-access provision. Gun must be locked and inaccessible to any child under 18. -They would have the right to come and inspect that you are storing your gun safely away from accessibility to children and fine is punishable for up to 5 yrs. in prison.

If you think this is a joke – go to the website and take your pick of many options to read this. It is long and lengthy. But, more and more people are becoming aware of this.

AMERICA WHAT DO YOU THINK?

I share views from both major parties.
Officially I’m a Democrat, but I do not vote party-line.
I have a mind of my own.

WAR
-I’m against the Iraq War.
-30,000 troop surge in Afghanistan was the right thing to do.

WELFARE
-Recipients should be required to pass drug tests!
-Increase public assistance to those who are in legitimate need
-Don’t give the homeless money………..Give them homes.

I’M PRO-LIFE
-Pro-Patriot Act
-Pro-Gun control
-Pro-stem cell reserach
-Use death penalty less often.
-Restrict & Ban abortions (especially partial-birth abortions)
-Life begins at conception

CIVIL RIGHTS
-Let gays marry, "To each his own."
-Civil Unions demonstrate "separate but equal" which is unconstitutional.
-AGAINST Affirmative Action: Don’t make hiring decisions based on whether they are minorities.

TAX REFORM
-Tax Churches and raise the standards for a service to be considered "non-profit" tax-exempt.
-Replace irs with national sales tax
-Use alternative revenue sources to replace taxes; higher fines on criminals & traffic violations
-Gear tax cuts towards the middle class, I pretty much don’t give a crap what the rich have to pay in taxes

RESTRICT SMOKING
-Raise sales tax on cigarrettes and using that money to fight cancer
-Ban smoking in public places
-Allow hospitals to have a policy where they don’t hire smokers

ECONOMY
-Against social security: Let people manage their own money. SS should be voluntary to pay into.
-Maintain a mixed economy; part capitalist part socialist
-Enforce mandatory paid vacations like they do in Europe
-My position on Universal Healthcare: We need to come up with a better way to pay for it.
-Bush medicare bill was a mistake.
-I believe the bailout was necessary. And look on the bright side; that bailout wasn’t a gift; it was a loan. They owe us that money back.
But we’ve already bailed them out once…..If they ask for another, the answer is NO.
FREE TRADE
-Allow it, it may lose facotry jobs but it gives us lower prices. And the most important jobs are not the labor-factory ones.
