I’m a United States citizen, raised in Massachusetts, lived most recently in California. I have a valid California driver’s license but I now go to school in Louisiana. Do I need to get a Louisiana ID before I can purchase I firearm? Or is it just as easy as walking into any gun dealer in Louisiana with my California ID and buying a gun? I’ve never owned a gun before, so I’m new to this whole thing.

"It’s a shell game," said Julian Zelizer, professor of history and public affairs at Princeton University. "He can still say he didn’t raise taxes, but fees are taxes by another name. It’s a trick."
