I am thirteen and recently got my first 22. I was wondering what the Florida gun laws were in regards to minors and firearms. I keep a gun lock on it – my parents have the key, although it is in my possession (it’s in my closet). It’s in a locked case with the ammunition stored in a separate and locked area. Also, are there any other things I need to do? Thanks in advance for your answers.
I have done some of my own research of the gun laws prior to this question, but I’m just want to make sure I didn’t miss anything.

Be sure to read the comments, you will find more information about gun laws

A.) in my state or county? The neighbors son is a heathen and has shot our elderly pet dog and shot at the house. I am not going to be terrorized by a disturbed/ evil 10 year old. We are worried for our safety and that of our pets.
B.) Can "spent" pellets or BBs be detected w/ a metal detector.
I have photos of the child w/ gun and wound on my dog, have noted dates and exact threats. I plan to contact those I know in law enforcement after the busy holiday weekend?

Any other help, ideas? Indiana and gun law research are not helping me much- nothing on pellet guns coming up.
House is brick so no damage yet, worried about my dog when I am away if he does this when we are HOME. No, have not spoken w/ parents they were home and I am sure by his fowl language he is been raised to be violent and cruel. I LOVE my pets and I am not sleeping over this.

I am 15. I believe in a constitutional right to bear arms. I do not need a gun, but I believe that if Clinton (and perhaps Obama) is elected, then some sort of gun control act will be put into action. I would much rather sell the firearm in a couple years, then want to have one, and not be able to buy it.

This summer I will be taking firearm safety classes, and will get a job to save 00 by the end of the year for the purchase of the rifle. (Possibly an AR-15)

My question is, is it legal for a minor to posses an otherwise legal firearm in the state of Texas? My parents would buy it, the question is if I can own it. Would it be better to keep the rifle in storage until I turn 18?

Thank you.
Why do I want a firearm? I don’t really want one NOW, but there is a very large chance that there will be increased gun control, and I, as a law abiding US citizen, will not be able to purchase one in the future.

I personally do not subscribe the whole "Lets make MORE laws because the criminals obviously will follow those, because, you know, it’s the law.
