Health Care – watered down; no Single Payer
Wall Street Reform – watered down almost too much to protect Big Business
Credit Card Consumer Protection -
Tripled troops to Afghanistan – Bush basically ignored Afghanistan and moved on to Iraq
Strengthened Gun Control

Extension of Patriot Act, in response to Terrorist threats in this country. We seem to be disrupting more threats in advance of the attack, now;

Ended media blackout on war casualties; reporting full information

Increasing pay and benefits for military personnel

Improved housing for military personnel

Instituted enforcement for equal pay for women

Removed restrictions on embryonic stem-cell research

Federal support for stem-cell and new biomedical research

States are permitted to enact federal fuel efficiency standards above federal standards

Increased infrastructure spending (roads, bridges, power plants) after years of neglect
Funds for high-speed, broadband Internet access to K-12 schools

Many other moderate pieces of legislation…

Isn't Guiliani being hypocritical about the Democrats wanting a "nanny government"?

After all didn’t Guiliani support the Patriot Act and hand gun control while Mayor of NYC? Those are two prime examples of the government "controlling your life."

What is his position on the seatbelt and helmet laws?

Does he intend to get rid of that nanny government legislation if he is elected President?

Affordable housing
The minimum wage/Living wage
Cost of living vs income growth
There are others, but these are the primary issues, that are most in need of being addressed right now! These are quality of life issues, so let me know if I have left out any important QUALITY OF LIFE issues, because quality of life issues are the only issues that really matter.
Actually, trouble, yes I do want a lot! I want a whole different kind of world. I know I may not see it in my lifetime, but I will continue to try as long as I am still breathing, to make people understand and care about what is best for EVERYONE, not just for a certain few!

…but I believe that the change we need is to restore the Constitution, end the war, abolish the Federal Reserve, secure our borders, reduce the size and scope of government, reduce spending, reduce taxes, abolish the Patriot Act, abolish the IRS, get out of the US, stop policing the world, etc.

What is the change Obama wants? More taxes & spending, open borders, amnesty for illegals, more policing of the world, continued policies of Bush (such as the Patriot Act), gun control, socialized medicine?

Keep in mind the Patriot Act, FISA, the Military Commissions Act and the new bill introduced by Senator Lieberman and 4 Republicans and the 2 repeals of Gun Control laws by Democrats in the last year.

Some believe that paying taxes is patriotic. Some believe it isn’t. Some believe in bigger government. Others don’t.

For now, lets forget about all of the facets of economics intertwined with patriotism, and focus on civil liberties.

Which party advocates the most civil liberty?
That’s an easy one; Libertarians.

But out of the Republicans and Democrats, which advocates the most civil liberties? They both have taken a chip out of it.
(The Patriot act, gun control, etc.)

Me personally

1. War On Terror, Leave the middle east and restore our civil liberties repeal the patriot act, NO NATIONAL ID, No Gun Control, No Censorship

2. War On Drugs, END IT

3. Immigration, Make them learn English or deport there asses

4. 10th amendment, if the constitution says that federal govt doesn’t have the power then the states do (I don’t see anything about Abortion, Gay Marriage, or ID Cards)
