I mounted my Sony Handycam to the A2 stock of an AR-15 Bushmaster Varminter, providing you with a POV or first-person experience. Shooting steel at 175 yards with Georgia Arms 55gr FMJ. Good view of the right side of the rifle, scope, bipod, ejecting brass, etc. I was laying prone on my “shooting platform”. You might be able to see the target downrange near the middle of the screen, but can definitely hear the hits. The perspective for this short video was to show more of the rifle.

We had another opportunity to film and shoot a POF AR15 rifle (.223/5.56mm). It’s tough filming left handed shooters we soon discovered, so Warptyn took a few shots allowing us to get a right handed view of this nice rifle in high speed- and put on a good show in the process. – We use a Flip Ultra HD for our real-time footage and a Casio EXF1 Pro camera for our high speed footage, set to record @ 600 frames per second. The Flip camera does a nice job of recording HD, as LONG as you don’t move the camera around much. The stereo mics of the Flip pick up sound very well with very little wind-noise.
