@TheHossUSMC hello my devildog brother, I do believe the meter thing is to
standardize with nato. kind of like the whole 9mm thing. Semper Fi
Hey Don , First great video ,as usual, but when Nutinfancy said you couldnt fight your way out of a wet paper bag, I guess you proved him wrong. Boy did you tear up that wet paper. HAHAHA sorry just feeling like a comedian this morning. Have a great day I hope the message at church today really touches your heart. Keep up the great work, Ill be watching.
@MrDowneast I guess thats one more reason not to change to meters. I hate NATO if you can’t tell.
I love those targets…they are the best for running a zero on your system!!! And the price is always pretty reasonable, but the deal your talking about is much cheaper than I have been spending!!!!
In terms of pens, I’ve noticed that ball point ink works the best, versus the gel or the rollerball ink. Pencil works great, too!
@TheHossUSMC LOL, we should have all learned the metric system when they asked us to in elementary school
@ArtisanTony They only taught me American measurements. Another reason to be pissed at the government? I think so.
@TheHossUSMC I remember when there was a push in the US to convert to the metric system. It did not go over well but I do remember the effort on the part of the education system and government with regards to measuring system. I may remember this better because I am in construction where the push was greater but the good old boys beat it down
The funny thing is it is actually easier to use once you learn the system.
Hmmm… Wonder if they use these or something like it for the Appleseed Project to train civilian marksmen.
Good vid… I didn’t read all the comments, but… How about a review on the grip pod and is the pod the mil one with steel inserts?
looks like I’ll have to get an ar-15 to justify buying those targets…..
Obviously permanent inks are good, but a simple pencil just rocks on these…
A very useful and nicely thought out product. Thanks for the demos.
Haha…..funny ending as well. Gotta love .45′s.
:/ so according to this target, all ammo leaving a m16 or a m4 has the same trajectory be it factory or reloaded ammo?
Nice targets.
Cool!
@EwFreDDe omg, dude they both use the 5.56 NATO round, wtf do you think? of course they both use the same bullet
@BLAYDZ99 i mean all ammo isnt the same, bulletweight and amount of powder casing brand etc= all ammo has a different trajectory…. therefor u should allways shoot in a gun at 300 yards if ur going to be shooting at 300 yards. u know?
quit wasting water>.> and thanks for letting me know the zeroing targets i couldn’t remember what they were called!
@EwFreDDe If I want to punch quarters with my .270 Winchester at 300 yards than yes. But for an AR-15 that your trying to get a good grouping within a man sized target at 300 yards. Then a 25 yard zeroing target works just fine. IMO
@Battleboy441 hate to bust ur bubble but ballistics aply to all guns.
Great product, thanks for the info. Hasta la vista jajaja muy bueno!!
@EwFreDDe I believe that is what i said, but your not looking for that level of accuracy with iron sights on an AR-15. The zeroing target is made it get you close enough for combat. Like I said a decent grouping on a man sized target at 300 yards. You’re not going to be punching quarters but most people aren’t looking to do that with an AR-15 anyway.
@Battleboy441 ywa but a heavy (im not so familiar with the .223 caliber) 70 grain bullet vs a really lightweight, 30grain will have a really huge difference in the arch.
so even if ur hitting it on the 25m line dosnt allways make sure ull hit it on the 300 m line it might go way over or way low or right on. but lets just agree to disagree
@EwFreDDe nato has standards for the ammunition used…..this way is more available when in the field. if they had a 300 yard range..they would use it.
