People on the FBI’S watch list made 1119 purchases of guns, ammo, or explosives from licensed dealers over the last six years is this another example of a bloated bureaucracy failing at their job.~

Nope.
No of course they shouldn`t, look like some is failing at their job…..s
Only if they are Muslim. White people cannot be terrorists.
In short, no. Nobody suspected of terrorism or terrorist ties should be allowed to purchase firearms. For that matter they shouldn’t be allowed on planes, allowed to make large purchases, and should probably be under surveillance.
innocent till proven guilty, so yes, unless you don’t like the laws, heck why stop with just suspects better make sure the ones who don’t show on the rader don’t get some too and ban all guns why not?
Since the FBI won’t come clean about the criteria for ending up on the watch list, I’d have to say that I’m a long way from saying, "no". The 0-bozo administration has already branded veterans and many others as potential terrorists, so I have no faith in them to fairly determine who should be placed on the list.
Yes. We need laxer gun control
Anyone can buy a gun from a private owner that isn’t a dealer. I would like that to continue.
Your examples show that government regulations don’t work, too many government employees show up for work everyday and do nothing. We see that in the Gulf right now as well.
If they’re US citizens of course they should be able to purchase weapons. Suspicion is not grounds for taking away your rights.
So, American citizens should have their rights taken from them if they are on a watch list? (And, yes, in order to purchase firearms legally, a person has to be a citizen)
Being on a watch list means a person has been suspected of being somehow linked to terrorist organizations or activities, but without any proof or evidence against them.
