Do you think we should take certain aspects of this event and formulate our regulations and laws around them? Just in general what does it say about gun regulation policies in public places, places of employment, schools, the united states etc.
Please be specific as possible, Thanks.
In response to "Bonkers!", this is actually in fact not for homework, I don’t know where you are or where you’re from ,but it’s December 29th and that means winter vacation for me. Now why would I be posting questions concerning homework?

Maybe parents should know what their kids are doing.
No kid of mine would ever get away with building pipe bombs in my garage.
We have enough gun control laws. Kliebold and Harris broke those laws.
We should recommend parents pay attention to their children and teach them right from wrong, instead of blaming the weapons used.
It says kids should do their own homework because the whole point is learning to express your opinion, not recite someone else’s.
NEWSFLASH.
The two murdering punks used an older person to buy them their guns.
THEY BROKE EXISTING LAWS.
There are 22,000 firearms laws in the United States. Criminals obey NONE of them, so how would MORE laws help?
EVERYWHERE concealed carry permits are issued to law abiding citizens on demand, CRIME GOES DOWN. FACT.
I’m pretty sure already that guns are prohibited on school grounds and even i think between 25-100 feet or something like that and I’m sure most places of employment also prohibit firearms. But I first want to give you my opinion on gun control. It doesn’t work! You can regulate and try as best you can to delay people from getting guns or try to prevent it from happening at all but it still won’t work. Why? Because if people want them they will get them and they can easiliy get around all the bureaucratic red tape that anti-gun authoritiarians want to put in place by buying them off the black market from a guy that doesn’t do background checks and will sell you any type of weapon you want for cheaper than in a store. When there is a demand for something there will be a supply. Prohibition doesn’t work and it never will as long as there is a demand for something it will be supplied whether it be guns, drugs, prostitution, having plural marriage, etc.
A couple of things come to mind, not only in this case but others that are similar.
First, in today’s world, a parent cannot control their kids as in years back, because the government has their noses in your business and determines what you can and can’t do for punishment should your kids go astray.
Next, the American kids of today are raised with the idea that shooting and killing is the answer to any and all events, just by watching the actions of our government invading and bombing nations because we don’t like their leaders, or ideas, and our backing of countries like Israel and their constant killing of Palestinian civilians.
These kids see it and the results everyday, so that’s all they really know, shoot and worry later.
The guns used at Clumbine by teh way, were stolen from legal gun owners, so short of removing all guns from the citizens, not much else can be done.
There were and are gun laws against carrying or using guns in and around schools and many other public places, so anyone with a criminal intent, disregards these laws anyway, so now what ?
There are more than enough laws in this country now.
One other thing, more people die from medical mistakes every year, and death by automobile accidents than guns, so are we to outlaw cars and doctors ?
We have a gun control advocate providing the handgun and the ammunition, and even giving shooting lessons to the Columbine killers, that says a lot about those who promote gun control.
A single teacher with a gun in the school could have stopped the rampage and saved lives.
How about giving teachers a bonus if they train, pass background checks, and carry with them a firearm at work?
Crazies may still walk in and start shooting, but at least they’ll have something to worry about.
The big secret about Columbine is that there were more involved than just Harris and Klebold. Don’t believe me? Just ask the eyewitnesses:
