I’m 16 as of right now, and I know I’m no where near the legal age, but I was just curious about the age to legally obtain a license to carry a concealed firearm. And please, no comments from you anti-gun activists.

I have heard it varies by state. In Ohio, it is 21. I know this because i completed the required class last month. It is my understanding most states require you to be 21 to legally own a handgun. Because rifles and shotguns are nearly impossible to conceal, you would have to be old enough to own a handgun before you could carry concealed. Actually, Ohio doesn’t even call is a concealed weapons permit. It is called a concealed HANDGUN license.
21 in NC, I think. I’m pretty sure, I know a 22 year old with a license to conceal.
In Missouri, it is 23.
at least 21 (considering you have to be 21 to own a concealable weapon aka handgun)
21 in most states.
In most states, if you can own a handgun, you can get the license to carry it. In most states, it is 18 to buy a long gun and 21 to get a handgun.
I would consult your local sheriff or state police (as they are the departments tasked with firearm regulation) and make sure. However, you still have 5 years to go in most states.
Varies by state. In Indiana you may buy a handgun and get a license to carry it at age 18. You just can’t buy a handgun from an FFL dealer until you are 21. Contact your state police for clarification of the application requirements.
