During the 2008 campaign, I received numerous letters and emails from the NRA stating that Obama had the following 10 point plan -
1.) Ban use of firearms for home defense
2.) Pass Federal laws eliminating your Right-to-Carry
3.) Ban the manufacture, sale and possession of handguns
4.) Close down 90% of the gun shops in America
5.) Ban rifle ammunition commonly used for hunting and sport shooting
6.) Increase federal taxed on guns and ammunition by 500 percent
7.) Restore voting rights for five million criminals including those who have been convicted of using a gun to commit a violent crime
8.) Expand the Clinton semi-auto ban to include millions more firearms
9.) Mandate a government issued license to purchase a firearm
10.) Appoint judges to the U.S. Supreme Court and Federal judiciary who share his views on the Second Amendment
I’m sure many of you remember receiving the same letter. His first term is over halfway done now, when will he begin to enact these laws?
Surely the NRA couldn’t have misled me in attempt to scare people into voting Republican, could they?

All of these were sponsored by gun and ammunition manufacturers. The price of both guns and amo have skyrocketed and they makers and sellers are laughing all the way to the bank. Obama has not done a single thing to restrict anybody from buying guns and ammo.
However, the companies involved are making money hand over fist!

0bama now realizes he can’t end the civil right to own a gun politically, so he’s now doing it judicially. He’s already appointed 2 Supreme Court justices that mirrors his hatred for this civil right, and needs to appoint just one more justice to start overturning our 2nd Amendment right. Wake-up or grow-up.

Guns was not even an issue until the shooting in Arizona
He has started on #10. The other things were based on his voting and historical positions. If he was solely in charge and did not have to deal with Congress most of these things might very well have happened
You can throw out all the quippy and cutesy comments your heart desires, but like a typical Liberal with myopic vision, it’s what he does behind the scenes that are necessary to monitor. Obama may be a poser and a loser, but he also KNOWS any outright attempt to compromise the Second Amendment, will result in consequences he doesn’t have the courage to face.
Answer: There are dozens of examples of what Obama has "tried" and failed and the more insidious moves he has made, that remain "open" for his move to restrict gun ownership. Obviously, ALL the promises your messiah made that he has FAILED on, mean less to you than a Constitutional Right.

The ONLY reason Obama and his regime have not attempted to ban guns or pass another round of gun control is because of the work that we in the NRA have done.
We will NOT stop protecting our freedoms and we will not stop reminding Obama and the blue dog Democrats what happened to them in 94 when they last decided violating the 2nd Amendment was a great idea.
One of the best moments in my life was telling my Professor Dave McCurdy that I cost him his job in Congress. He thought he could vote for gun control and we would sit there and take it. We did not and removed him via grassroots efforts. We stood up to him and we will stand up to Obama.
I am the NRA and I will never make it easy for you to take our rights.
The NRA does not hesitate to support Democrats. Harry Reid is a liberal Democrat. He is also a proponent of the 2nd Amendment. The NRA endorsed him and he won by a narrow margin.

If I said to you in 2000 that Bush was going get rid of the first amendment and impose a dictatorship, and it came from liberal source, it would be obvious that it was just a scare tactic, based on no fact at all. cant you recognize that? once they said that, the rednecks went on a shopping spree because they were stupid enough to actually believe that. Obama couldn’t get laws like that passed even if they were on his “secret communist Muslim agenda to destroy all white people and Christians” like so many crazies out there claim.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m an owner, target shooter, and hunter, so I don’t support gun rights removal. But still…
