Yes I’m 18+
Yes I know how to get a rifle
Yes I know Federal and State laws on firearms
All I need to know is what I need to do to get license to carry a long gun.
Sorry for any misunderstands… I meant a hunting license.

Yes I know Federal and State laws on firearms
That is funny, in my state there are no laws requiring a license to carry any firearm, unless you try to conceal it. If you know your state laws, why are you asking us?
Ok, that covers that, really what is your question ? as stated If you know the laws then ???????????
NONE is required, but you need a Hunting License if you are going to hunt with it.*
Don’t know what Country you live in but the USA
you don’t need a license to carry a long gun .
If your hunting any game you need a hunting license, they can be purchased at any sporting goods stores, walmart,
or bait shop
I live in Floyd County, Virginia, USA. Here we are free and don’t need a license to have a rifle, shotgun, or even a pistol. I find the idea of needing a license for a gun highly offensive and as a free man I will fight against that which offends me by infringing upon my freedom.
Go to your local police station and ask for the permit application forms.
Apparently you dont know all that you say you know. Every single state allows you to buy long guns at the age of 18. There is no permit required to carry one or own one. If your traveling with the gun then simply unload it and put it in a case.. now its legal to transport.
after looking at everyone else’s responses, it looks like your question could have been phrased a bit differently.
i can’t speak for every state but to my knowledge there is no such thing as a long gun license. so…
if you’re looking to get a hunting license just go to walmart’s sporting goods section. or any other ‘outdoor’ type store. or perhaps your state will let you do it online. look up their department of natural resources and see what you can find. mind you, i feel like i need to say that you can’t just hunt everything with a simple hunting license. please do everything legally and follow the letter of the law.
